I was born in Muğla in 1974. I graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in 1997. In 2005, I completed my doctorate on "Comparison of conservative treatment methods in patients with disc displacement with reduction" at Istanbul University, Institute of Health Sciences, Department of Prosthodontics. I became an associate professor in 2011 and a professor in 2018. I worked at Istanbul Medipol University Faculty of Dentistry between 2011-2021. I have been working at Istanbul Bilgi University Faculty of Dentistry since 2021. I have been working on temporomandibular disorders and their treatments and giving lectures and courses since 1998.

Tips and Tricks for the Treatment of TMD in our Clinical Practice

Temporomandibular joint disorder (TMD) is a common condition that affects the jaw joint and surrounding muscles. Dentists know that, effective treatment strategies is crucial for managing TMD in clinical practice. The most important part is the diagnosis of the problem. Each patient’s TMD presentation is unique, so tailor our approach based on individual needs. By combining evidence-based practices with clinical expertise, we can enhance patient outcomes and improve their quality of life.
